Spirituality Week 2022: “Spirituality and Synodality”
The ISA’s Spirituality Week 2022, “Spirituality and Synodality” via webinar from June 13-17, 2022.
First day’s topic is on “Spirituality of the Early Filipino Missionaries: Historical Perspective” with Fray Emilio Edgardo Quilatan, OAR, E.H.D. – Head, Division of History, Commission on History, Culture and Heritage – Recoletos.
The Second day’s topic is on the “Spirituality of Filipino Catechists”. Ms. Ma. Angela Ureta, aO.Carm., Head writer and production consultant of ABS-CBN documentary “San Pedro Calungsod” shared about the Spirituality of St. Pedro Calungsod while the head catechist of Immaculate Concepcion Parish in Pasig City Ms. Rosario Sandoval shared about the Spirituality of Laureana “Ka Luring” Franco. 58
The Third day’s topic is on “Spirituality of Selected Filipino Holy Men: Venerable Teofilo Camomot, Venerable Alfredo Obviar, Servant of God Alfredo Versoza, Servant of God Rhoel Gallardo” with Fr. Sid Marinay, Ph.D. as resource speaker. Fr. Marinay is the Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Manila.
The fourth day’s topic is on ““Spirituality of the “Beatas” in the Call for A Synodal Church: Mo. Ignacia del Espiritu Santo, RVM; Dionicia and Cezilla Rosa Talangpaz, AR Sisters“ with Sr. Ma. Anicia Bation Co, RVM and Sr. Cleofe Maria Agua, AR as resource persons. 65
The last day’s topic is on “Spirituality of Filipino Lay Missionaries in Foreign Mission Today”. The resource speaker is Prof. Philip Fuentes from the University of Sto. Tomas – Ecclesiastical Faculties.
There were One hundred and eight (108) participants coming from different congregations and organizations attended this Spirituality Week.
