ISA Joins Uni-harmony Partners Manila Forum

Sr. Gerlette Fatima C. Cabahug, Carm O.L. and Ms. Joy KiaIkial represented the Institute of Spirituality in Asia (ISA) at a forum held on October 25, 2018 at Cultural Section of the Iranian Embassy in Manila.

Entitled “Interreligious Dialogue as Path to Harmony”, the forum had His Excellency Most Rev. Gabriele Giordano Caccia, Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, as the guest speaker.

He  pointed-out that all human beings belong to one family, are gifted with a  sense of spirituality and must share responsibility for the common good.

During the forum, it was emphasized that the primary objective of interreligious dialogue is not to prove one religion wrong and another right. Rather, such a dialogue must help its participants look forward to arriving at points common to all religions and to building a better world.
